The brief, honestly

The wrong DJ can quietly ruin a great event.

Awkward silences between speeches. A mic that crackles right when the candidate steps up. A first dance that starts forty seconds late. A roadshow truck that rolls into town with weak, low-quality sound. You don't need a playlist — you need someone who runs the whole moment so you can stop watching the speakers and start enjoying your event.

What we do

A service menu, not a setlist.

Every booking includes site visit notes, a written run-of-show, backup gear, and one point of contact from first call to last song.

01

Weddings & Engagements

From the bridal entrance to the last guest on the floor. Ceremony audio, reception mixing, MC coordination, and a playlist built around the couple — not a template.

  • Ceremony + reception sound
  • Couple-curated playlists
  • MC & speech coordination
02

Political Campaigns & Roadshows

Mobile sound that carries across a crowd, energy that pulls people in, and tight coordination with your communications team. Built for Tanzanian roadshow routes.

  • High-output mobile rigs
  • Multi-stop routing
  • Candidate intro sequences
03

Corporate & Ceremonies

Conferences, launches, gala dinners, graduations and award nights. Quiet professionalism on stage, real energy on the dance floor.

  • Crowd-reading sets
  • Event management on site
  • Brand-safe selections

WHY MBELLE PRODUCTIONS

The difference is in the details nobody else sweats.

  • 01

We read the room, not just the rider.

Tanzanian crowds aren't one playlist. We adjust the set live — by region, by age, by the moment in the program.

  • 02

One crew, one number, one promise.

The person who answers your first call is the person on the booth. No subcontractor surprises.

  • 03

    Built for big logistics.

Multi-stop roadshows, outdoor weddings, hotel ballrooms — our gear and our team are sized for the job.

Booking us takes one phone call. The rest is choreographed.

About Prime Event Entertainment Group

A Tanzanian DJ & event crew built on showing up and reading the room.

Prime Event Entertainment Group started behind one set of decks and grew into a small, tight crew that handles sound and event management for some of the most demanding nights in the country — the campaign rallies that have to land, the weddings that have to feel like the couple, the corporate events where engagement needs to start from the very first minute.

We're local. We know the venues, the logistics, the routes, the licenses, the rain plans. We're picky about who we book, because every event we say yes to gets our full attention.

"Music sets the mood. The real art is making the entire night feel effortless."

— Prime Event Entertainment Group

FAQ

Before you book.

Where in Tanzania do you work?+

Anywhere in the country. Most of our bookings are in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Dodoma, Mwanza and Zanzibar, but we travel for the right event — including multi-stop roadshow routes.

How far in advance should I book?+

For weddings and big corporate nights, 6–10 weeks is comfortable. For campaign roadshows, the sooner the better — schedules tighten fast in season. We do take last-minute bookings when our calendar allows.

Do you bring your own sound system?+

Yes. Every booking includes the right rig for the room or the route, plus backup gear. If your venue already has a system, we'll plug into it and bring our own redundancy.

Can you handle MC duties or work with our MC?+

Both. We can run the program ourselves or coordinate tightly with your MC, planner or comms team. Either way, you get a written run-of-show.

What's the booking process?+

Send a quick message or call us. We confirm availability, agree on the package, take a deposit, and lock the date. From there we plan the program with you.

Do you play in Kiswahili and English?+

Yes — and we read the crowd. Bongo Flava, Amapiano, Afrobeats, gospel, classic Tanzanian sets, international, ceremony music — whatever the night calls for.

What does it cost?+

Pricing depends on the event type, location and length. Once we know your date and venue, we send a clear written quote — no surprises.

Let's check your date

One call. One great night.

Tell us when, where, and what kind of event. If we're the right crew for the job, we'll say so — and book the date. If we're not, we'll point you to someone good.
